Current Information on Service Availability.
2021-01-15 09:43:48 – The previous maintenance is now completed. Yesterday’s update was rolled back on two occasions when two problems were identified and needed to be addressed. The final update was made at 22:07.
During Thursday, January 14th, we will perform a software update regarding the following API interfaces where we deviate from older .NET Framework 2.0 Web Services technology and instead handle calls to these interfaces in a modern .NET Core application.

https:// [api / api2] .smsteknik.se/send/ws/v1.1/
Apart from this, it should not mean any differences for you as a customer or its application.
Announced time: 2021-01-08 15:15 Updated time: 2021-01-15 09:54 End time: 2021-01-14 22:072021-01-12 11:59:24 – In a first step, we will deactivate the old and weak TLS protocols 1.0 and 1.1 on our secondary site (api2) now on Sunday at 23:00 CET. Customers who are unsure of their systems if they still need these older protocols can then test the APIs located on the secondary site before the change is made on our primary site (www / api) on 31 January.
2021-01-11 09:25:55 – On January 31, 23:00 CET, we will start removing the support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. This change will require a restart of our servers and we will be unreachable for a few minutes. We will start with our primary servers (www./api) and then do so on our secondary servers (api2).
We recommend you to investigate which TLS you have and see if you are required to make an update on your side.
The reason of the removal are that the older TLS protocols have deprecated and are considered as security risks in the Internet community.
We strongly recommend you to use HTTPS if you are using HTTP today.
About TLS
Transport Layer Security = TLS is a protocol that provides privacy and data integrity between two communicating applications.
It’s the most widely deployed security protocol used today and is used for web browsers and other applications that require data to be securely exchanged over a network.
TLS ensures that a connection to a remote endpoint reaches the intended endpoint through endpoint identity verification, and encryption.

Announced time: 2021-01-08 14:21 Updated time: 2021-01-08 14:21During the period Q1, we will continuously activate and adjust our DMARC policy for e-mail.
The DMARC protocol, along with the commonly used SPF and DKIM protocols, are ways to ensure that emails are sent by individuals or organizations that are properly authenticated to the domain.
Emails that do not supplement this policy will be quarantined or rejected by your system or email provider.
For more information about DMARC, read more at https://dmarc.org/overview/
If you suspect that you are missing emails from us, please contact our support staff at support@smsteknik.se.
