Incoming SMS delivery to customer virtual numbers.
What happened:
A routing issue caused some incoming SMS messages to be delivered more than once to customer integrations.
Temporary solution:
No temporary workaround was required. The underlying routing issue was corrected directly.
Actions for the customers:
No action is required. Customers whose integrations trigger non-idempotent actions should review messages received during the incident period and reconcile any duplicates.

Permanent solution:
The routing logic was corrected so that each incoming message follows a single delivery path.
Additional information:
Other incoming events, such as status reports, were not affected.
