Dear Customer,

We will be performing planned maintenance on our API gateway that handles API integrations at:

https://api.smsteknik.se/

Changes & Explanations

DNS change.

  • Old IP: 91.195.154.221
  • New IP: 91.195.154.226

APIs will now return HTTP Status Code 401 for unauthorized requests

  • Previous: 0:Access denied (200 OK)
  • New: 0:Access denied (401)
  • Why: This aligns the API with standard HTTP conventions, making it easier for clients to detect and handle authentication failures without parsing the response body.

Clients will always receive an smsid

  • Previous: 0:No Valid recipients
  • New: Returns an smsid (delivery status will be sent as DLR and can be checked in our portal)
  • Why: This ensures all requests generate a unique reference ID, even if no valid recipients were found, enabling consistent tracking and simplifying troubleshooting and reporting.
