The autumn is here and we would like to update you on a few things…

Changes in the MMS service 

In the beginning of the fall we were informed that the MMS service was planned to be shut down by several operators.
SMS Teknik is one of few that offers MMS services. Our goal has been to find a solution and be able to continue offering this service. We can now announce that we have achieved this goal and will be able to continue offer MMS services, but with some changes.

• The sender changes – from a short code to a long number.
• It is now possible to have a unique dedicated long number for SMS and MMS.
• New prices for MMS
  Sweden    0,61 SEK/MMS
  Norway      1,86 SEK/MMS
  Other      2,36 SEK/MMS

Say good bye to HTTP – from March 1, 2022, only HTTPS is allowed

On March 1, 2022, SMS Teknik AB will force our customers to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for communication with our APIs.

The padlock icon on websites starting with https (instead of http) is synonymous with secure websites. A lock icon on a website is a validation that customer data is safe from fraudulent activities.

Using HTTPS secures your data during transport and protects you from phishing, “man-in-the-middle” attacks and other data breaches.

If you are making your submits to our services with http://api.smsteknik.se/ you need to change to https://api.smsteknik.se/ no later than March 1, 2022.

UC Nordic growth company 

SMS Teknik has been awarded UC’s growth certificate. To be awarded this certificate, the company must achieve increased growth, profitability and meet UC’s solvency requirements, which SMS Teknik has done.
This shows that we are a creditworthy company and that has great potential to grow. The certificate strengthens that SMS Teknik is a secure and long-term partner.
