SMS Gateway HTTP/S

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems. A HTTP-client, usually a browser, to download an HTML file, an image or other file from a Web server sends a request consisting of a short string of text to a TCP port on the server, usually number 80. The text string containing information about the version of HTTP being used, and the file that the client wants the server to send.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a protocol för encrypted transport of data for HTTP-protocol, data is sent to an other TCP-port at the server, port 443.

GET – Requests a representation of the specified resource. Requests using GET should only retrieve data and should have no other effect.
POST – Sending any kind of information, such as user name and password to the server (for example HTML tag).

SMS Gateway SMTP

Many companies have server environments with sequrity aspects that make SMTP the easiest way to reach our SMS Gateway to send SMS. This procedure fits most companies because almost every one has sequrity rutines that allows E-mail sendings.

It´s easy! Simply send the e-mail to your Mail2SMS account, then we deliver the message as an SMS to the receiving phone.

The mobile phone number of the receiver is to be put in the subject field. When you want to send to multiple receivers just separate the numbers with semicolon.

If you already have the possibility to make e-mail dispatches in your system it´s very easy to add the SMS functionality with SMS Gateway SMTP. The only thing required to do to send SMS is to redirect the dispach to your Mail2SMS account with SMS Teknik.
